A fellow hunter recommended the new Primos Buck Roar to me last week and I decided to get one ($20 at BassPro) after doing a little research.
I bought my Buck Roar two days ago. I decided to try it yesterday just before I left the woods. No deer were in sight and I couldn't hear anything moving. I started calling with a round of low grunts that became more aggressive. After 5-10 minutes of calling a small three point ran straight in and walked around my blind for 10 minutes looking for me.
I was hunting in a camo ground blind on a bluff that is 15 feet higher than the surrounding area. At one point the buck was probably only 25 feet from me. He wanted to jump the creek between us but the bank was too steep.Too many people in this part of the country are shooting little bucks and I decided to let him walk away. But he didn't get to walk until I'd had a little fun with him and shot a few photos.

I low grunted every time he started to walk away and he always turned around and started looking again. He finally got downwind of me and left.
I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to the "latest and greatest" stuff but yesterday's experience made me feel a little better about my $20 investment!!
